Shielding the Financial Future of Individuals with Disabilities

Guardian Pooled Trust

The Guardian Pooled Trust was created in 2002 with the sole purpose of helping people with disabilities qualify for programs such as Medicaid and SSI. We provide the highest quality of service to our beneficiaries, their families and their professionals.

Guardian Special Needs Trust - Third Party

The third-party trust is for parents, grandparents and any family members or friends who want to provide for a person with special needs. We hold, protect and administer "inherited" money in a professional, caring and cost-effective manner.

Individual (d)(4)(A) Trust Administration Services

Individual, Self-Settled Special Needs Trusts can also be referred to as "d4A" trusts. Funds are individually managed and invested. Beneficiaries must be under the age of 65 when the trust is established and Medicaid must be paid back.

COVID-19 precautions: In order to protect our staff, Guardian Trust will not be meeting directly with the public at our offices at this time.  We will continue to communicate with our beneficiaries via phone, email and fax, process requests and deposits for our beneficiaries and open new accounts. We want to assure you that we will do everything possible to assist you in a timely manner while attempting to keep everyone healthy, but our turnaround times may be more extended.

Having identified the need for professional, responsive and client-centered trust administration, the Guardian Pooled Trust opened for business in 2002.  Since then we have broadened our scope of trustee services to include individual (d)(4)(A) trusts, third-party special needs trusts, and most recently, all other types of trusts, including discretionary and spendthrift trusts.

Our largest market is still the administration of Special Needs Trusts (SNT). The purpose of an SNT is to help an individual with a disability financially qualify for public assistance programs such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), while maintaining assets for the person's sole benefit.  Our mission is to protect and maintain an individual's eligibility for these benefits through providing professional administrative Special Needs Trust services.

The Trustees of the Guardian Trusts are the premier Special Needs Trust Administrators in the United States and truly believe they are here to serve the beneficiaries.  With no minimum deposits or hidden fees, Guardian Trust stands apart from other Special Needs Trust administrators.  Click to here to see what else sets us apart.
